Pre-EGA/EBA-Lincoln Developmental Training (U4-U8)

  • Explanation:  Primary focus will be on the U4-U8 age groups; however, these options will also be open to players in the U9 and U10 age groups who are currently playing with other teams that want additional training opportunities (*with permission from their primary coach).
  • Each season (Fall and Spring) the EGA/EBA-Lincoln will conduct developmental training for the U4, U5, U6, U7, and U8 (coed) age groups

  • The FOCUS of the Developmental Training will be foundational technical training.  All players will be exposed to basic soccer techniques and provided with the opportunity to explore acquired skills in game-like situations.
  • Location: All training sessions and games will be conducted Speedway Village
  • Cost for the developmental league: $75 (includes professional training and the EGA/EBA t-shirt)
  • All training will be conducted under the guidance of Jen Burkey.  Combined, the coaching staff has over 40 years of coaching experience at the youth, high school, and college levels.  In addition we have enlisted the help of current players and several current and former College players to work with your children.  For the Pre-EGA/EBA developmental league we will emphasize creating a training environment that will be fun, that will instill a passion for the game of soccer, that will give young players the technical and tactical tools to compete to their fullest potential, that will develop character, and that which will instill a sense of community.
